Well, I was blessed to be the Father of two wonderful daughters that I raised completely on my own.  Was able to spend time with them both over the past two weekends.  They are the absolute best!  As I see all the tributes to Dads on Facebook I couldn’t help but notice a few of them stating that their Fathers were not in their lives.  As much as one of them saying “I really never had a Dad”.  I thought to myself “why would anyone even bother writing this dirty laundry on a day of celebration?  Then after reading a few of them in depth I began to understand their logic.  It was almost like therapy for them to express it.  They weren’t mean about it at all but basically stated how lucky most folks are being able to celebrate their Dads on Fathers Day.  Yes…after thinking about it I did understand why they would post on their true feelings on there.  I give them a tip of my hat to have the nerve to express those feelings to the world.  Not ALL people have positive experiences and everybody deals with it all differently.  Either way I salute those folks and I salute the folks that were able to celebrate their Dad in a positive way.  Hoping they day went well.  Happy (belated) Fat
