Lenny Kravitz has put up for auction an autographed guitar that the winners of his “The Giving Guitar” initiative played his 1991 hit, “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over.”
Kravitz came up with “The Giving Guitar” initiative with Stella Artois in February, offering artists a chance to be featured in the beer brand’s music video. The initiative was part of Stella Artois’ and Kravitz’s Invest Your Heartbeats in the Life Artois campaign, which encourages everyone to devote “time, passion, and love into the things and people” they love the most.
The final music video, featuring the ten winners performing the hit song on the autographed guitar was released on Monday (March 22). The guitar is currently up for auction through April 1.
The proceeds from the auction will benefit NIVA’s Save our Stages, which is helping America’s independent venues stay afloat amid the pandemic.
“For me, I’ve missed being on tour, my fans, and the connection we all share through music,” said Kravitz in an initial video spot.
