These General Contest Rules apply to all contests or promotions conducted by the Station, unless amended, modified or superseded by rules for specific contests, events or promotions.

No Shave November rules

These contest rules are specific to the above contest conducted by NRG Media, LLC d/b/a WRLO (the “Station”). Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available from the Station’s studio at 3616 Highway 47 North, Rhinelander Wisconsin 54501, by request, and on the contest page on the Station’s website at www.wrlo.com. To the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.

How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The contest is open to listeners who are legal US residents at least 21 years old living within 50 miles of the Station’s studios at the address above.

Contest runs from Midnight, November 25, 2024 through 11:59 p.m. on December 4, 2024.

Listeners will upload a photo of themselves with their name, address, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth and age. Photos must not contain others. Photos may not contain children under the age of 18.

Data collected through entry in this contest may be shared with contest sponsors for marketing purposes.

Photos only (without identifying info) will be posted on the contest page on the Station’s website.

On December 5, 2024, one winner will be drawn randomly from all qualified entries and notified by email that they have won.

One Grand Prize package valued at 100 dollars will be awarded to one lucky winner.

The prize consists of a $100 gift card from Northwoods Firearms.

Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.

By entering, listener expressly confirms the following:

Entrant represents and warrants that he/she is 21 years of age or older as of entry date.

 

Entrant represents and warrants that he/she own the rights to, or have obtained permission to use, the photo being submitted. Entrant represents and warrants that he/she consents to and authorizes Station to post the photo containing the image on Station’s website or social network sites or use the photo in any other way Station sees fit.

Entrant consents, agrees and acknowledges that Station and contest sponsors and their respective affiliates, employees, agents may use for advertising and/or promotional purposes, entrant’s name, image, photo submission, other entry materials and/or biographical information on radio, on websites and/or any other medium in connection with participation in this contest or otherwise without the payment of any additional compensation.

By submitting a photo, Entrant grants NRG Media and WRLO a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, fully paid-up, royalty free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the photo and derivative works, whether or not the photo is selected as a winner, and entrant agrees to sign any documents requested by Station to evidence such license.

By submitting a photo in a Station contest, entrant agrees to indemnify Station should any representations and warranties made by entrant herein or in the applicable contest rules prove to be false or inaccurate.

Photo entry requirements

• Photo entries must not contain or depict any registered trade/servicemark or other copyrighted material other than those owned or licensed by the entrants or the Station or a Contest Sponsor. Further, Station may, but is not obligated to pixelate/cover any trademarks, servicemarks, or copyrighted materials in Station’s sole discretion.

Photo entries, as well as any comments that may be posted to any photo entries in this contest, must not contain or convey any content that the Station determines at its sole discretion, subjectively or otherwise, (i) to be indecent, profane, obscene, explicitly sexual, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, libelous, or hateful, (ii) to be racially, ethnically, or otherwise offensive or objectionable, (iii) to encourage unlawful behavior, (iv) to infringe upon the brand names, trade-marks, trade names, logos, or any other intellectual property that may belong to a third party, or (v) to disclose any detailed personal, physical, contact, or otherwise confidential information that may belong to a third party. Station shall not be required to make the same determination based on the foregoing for every photo and may treat each photo entry differently, in its sole discretion, even if the problematic content is similar. Station may reject any entry in its sole discretion.

BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST AND SUBMITTING PHOTOGRAPH, THE ENTRANT IS REPRESENTING TO STATION THAT THE USE AND DISTRIBUTION OF SUCH PHOTOGRAPH WILL NOT VIOLATE OR INFRINGE UPON THE RIGHTS OF ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COPYRIGHTS OF OTHERS.

By entering this contest, Entrants understand and agree that Station may elect to use any entry submitted for entertainment purposes and may choose to comment on, mock, poke fun at, and/or mimic any entry submitted. Entrants waive any right to make any claim against Station or any contest sponsors with respect to any comments – disparaging or otherwise – made regarding such Entrant’s entry.

In order to receive the Prize, the Prize Winner will be required to an IRS form W9, and complete a prize eligibility verification form acknowledging Winner’s eligibility to win, Winner’s responsibility for all federal, state, and local taxes and releasing the Stations and sponsor companies, their officers, directors, members, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind related to the participation in the contest, and/or delivery, acceptance and use of all prizes.

Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the contest rules are available to entrant, that entrant has had an opportunity to review the rules before entering this contest and the entrant agrees to be legally bound by the contest rules.
