Of course the Friday Night Fish Fry is like a Wisconsin religion. How many times have we seen “The Best Fish Fry”? How many times have we seen “The Best Burger In The North”? Call me crazy but isn’t the Bratwurst one of the most popular things at concession stands, events or grilled at home? so WHY doesn’t more of our incredible eating establishments pay homage to one of our favorite links? There should be a fast food establishment that has a MENU FULL of different varieties of the Bratwurst! But NO. At least not that I’ve heard of. Or is there? This weekend I was observing all the incredible varieties of the tubular delicacy. Trigs, Bessey’s in Rhinelander (one of my fav’s) and others out-do the many varieties. Cheddar, Beer, Taco…it’s endless! SO WHY oh WHY don’t we pay more attention to the most popular thing on a bun in the northwoods? Come on..admit it. Onions, Mustard, Sauerkraut…we’ve ALL got our loves on he we prepare them. SO WHY DON’T WE DO “The Northwoods Best Bratwurst”? Come on Northwoods eating establishments…get on it and then let me know. I’ll me more than happy to come out and start promoting it!!! Here’s to the “Wurst” thing on a bun. Let me know.
