Well, pretty hard to believe that July is all but said and done. It was a good month. Well, not totally for me. I moved and we all know how that absolutely sucks. As far as all the Northwoods events …WOW. What a difference a year has made. SO many of our great events have returned with a bang. (Yes, it’s a July 4th reference) It’s been a busy month but pretty much back to the way a Northwoods July should be. It’s SO good to see smiles on merchants faces. Although the biggest complaint this year is a lack of employees. It’s so nice to hear the business owners be thankful for the business again although they are stretched to the limit. Here’s hoping the employee issue will get solved. As summer winds down I hope all our wonderful businesses can keep up with demand. They are working hard so give them a break. I hope they can have the best summer ever! They deserve it after the last year and a half they’ve had to endure. Thank you July for showing us some back to normal things again. August should be a busy one as well and then we swing in to my favorite season. The fall months are next to perfect in the Northwoods. All the best for a great August!
