OK…I’m just about done with the HOT, HUMID weather

OK…so winter is SO damn long I know.  Nobody likes a nice, hot summer day like me.  The lakes, people taking in all the activities and events.  Hot, humid..ya, that’s summer in the Northwoods.  BUT for weeks at a time?  Enough already.  I really love you summer weather but you’ve wore out your welcome with me now.  I guess I’m at that point now where I’m in the “Bring on fall” mode!!  Actually my absolute favorite time of the year.  The trees turn color.  The mornings are brisk.  ON a sunny 60 or 65 degree day there’s nothing like it.  Even a sunny day we may have to wear a hoodie is fine with me.  Humidity is down and the days get shorter.  It’s like winding down after a busy 4 months or so.  OK…thank you summer for your warm, humid days.  Your bright sunshine but I’m waiting at Gate 5 to pick up FALL and bring her home for a couple months.  You know what…I even welcome that first snow flurry day!  You know…when the ground just retains a little white?  Even thru Christmas Day and New Years day.  THEN…as far as I’m concerned we can get back to spring on January 2nd!!  Another change in seasons and I’m ready for it.
