So, WITHOUT anybody taking this in to the political field I will talk about Covid and the vaccine. I chose to vaccinate. NO I’m not going to talk about beliefs but talk about my booster I got this past weekend. I’m sure many of you can relate. First off the weekend turned out to be awful weatherwise! Gloomy, cold, rainy! Could it have been any worse??!?!? With that I had a splitting headache from the weather. I got my booster on Friday so I had a double whammy! I got up Saturday morning to the headache but thought that I was not feeling the usual effects of the vaccine. I was thankful for that. The headache lasted ALL DAMN DAY!!! Then add insult to injury! About 8pm I started feeling the chills. I went to bed about 9pm as I was also feeling achy and tired. Well, by 10pm that was it! I was shivering like crazy! It lasted till about 2am! I couldn’t get warmed up and was so achy. Then, it started. The sweats. My sheets were soaked!!!! The fever broke. I finally fell asleep at 3:32 which is the last time I checked the clock. Luckily I woke up at 7 or so and did feel lots better. Not enough to tackle the world but a lot better. By Sunday afternoon the storm was calm and I was back to feeling ok….other than the crappy weather STILL. I’m hoping these shots are doing what they should be doing to go thru this pain for a day. I guess it’s a good thing as it’s an indicator that your immune system is fighting off stuff. Well, mine went in to overtime so I guess it was good. I sure hope (no…pray) that we will ALL get thru this damn Covid stuff soon and get back to some normal life. Well, in the shape the world is in…as normal as can be. If you can relate to this…I feel your pain. All the best.
