SEBASTIAN FRICKIN BACH….28 Seconds into this you know he’s back! That Scream! Damn! I know Bach has been doing considerable work on his vocals, enough to allow him to perform the entirety of Skid Row’s freshmen album on last years tour. He was sounding good enough that I thought why the hell would his old band mates call Lzzy Hale up to front a few shows with Baz sounding so good? I guess that blood is still too bad yet. And let’s face it who wouldn’t want to back Lzzy Hale!?! BUT as I listen to Bach’s latest effort: I gotta say leave those two parties separated! This album straight kicks ass! From the opening scream in Everybody Bleeds taking you straight back to Monkey Business to the intro of Hold On (To The Dream) with Bach’s vocals bringing up all the feels of Darkened Room….. MAN!!! Listen, it’s not often today that you get a full album from anyone… But one that you can sit through start to finish! That friends is something very rare! If you long for the good old days and love some of the nuances modern rock, well they just got busy and gave birth to THE CHILD INSIDE THE MAN!
