On a recent trip to Green Bay, and I found an awesome burger joint. It’s called Bay Area Burger Co., and it opened in 2020. They have a great selection of smash burgers, fries, and adult beverages, including one the best chocolate malts I have had in a while. The interior had a rustic charm with its red brick walls, use of copper accents, and black pipe fixtures. Despite having very little decor, the space felt current and inviting. It’s a place where the ambiance perfectly complements the delicious food they serve. We had the Double Smash and the ol’ Wisco standard “The Western” The staff was super friendly, and the prices were reasonable. It was a great experience all around. Granted this is in Wisconsin, and Green Bay of all places but the cheese curds were next level! I am not sure what they do to set them apart, but the chef was not giving up any secrets. It was a diverse crowd. Businessmen in suits, local skaters, families etc. all brought together by a delicious smash burger! It will be a regular stop every time I visit the city!
