Well I think it’s actually about time that the folks who LOVE winter get their year. We all know that THIS is the year for them! WOW! Not only the snow is cooperating but the cold temps tend to put a damper on some things but not all. Snowmobilers will go out in this cold no matter! Let’s face it, the snowmobile suits, heated helmets, etc. are built for this and they get out there regardless of what the thermometer says. Good for you folks! Have fun but be safe. I looked it up and the record cold low was set back in 1915 for Rhinelander at -41. Let’s face it folks…we were damn close to breaking that record a few nights ago. With this being somewhat of a brutal winter Mother Nature will give us a break and give us an early spring this year? OK…wishful thinking. Oh…there’s not ALL positive regarding the cold temps. You know…the cars that won’t start, pipes freezing and oh yes, the HEAT BILL! Stay Safe!!!!
