OK…the tradition is Turkey.  EVERYBODY (for the most part) celebrates the Giving Of Thanks with a Turkey and of course all the traditional sides.  But what if you’re not a traditionalist? Well, you may do a ham?  I know folks that have Duck and of course being it’s hunting season I’ll bet that there are a few that may celebrate with some venison.  I’ve heard of a Lasagna dinner being the annual tradition.  Whatever you consume it’s called a Thanksgiving feast for a reason.  Get together with family and friends with good food and reflection.  Same thing goes with the desserts too!  Pumpkin pie being the staple I prefer a good chocolate pie OR apple with a piece of american cheese.  If you’re thankful for what you’ve got…and I’m sure we ALL have something to be thankful for…just remember those that may not have a lot this time of year.  Reach out and try to do something nice for someone.  With the state the world is in right now we sure could use it!!!  Gobble Gobble and remember…it’s not out of the ordinary to wear sweat pants on for the feast…you may just feel a lot better afterwards.
