Tom DeLonge Says New Angels & Airwaves Single Will Have Box Car Racer Feel

Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge has shared exciting new details about the band’s forthcoming single.

A fan tagged DeLonge in a tweet expressing that they wished Box Car Racer, DeLonge’s side-project with David Kennedy and Blink-182‘s Travis Barker, had continued after their first and only studio album, released in 2002.

DeLonge responded to the tweet with “Stay tuned then for this first single from the new Angels & Airwaves album,” suggesting that it’s “very BCR” partly as a direct result of the fact that “Rich Costey is mixing it, because he mixed the BCR album. As he gave it that feel you are describing.”
