Rock 105.3 - The Northwoods Classic Rock Station

It’s that time of year so…what am I thankful for?  My 2 daughters!  That will NEVER change.  Those girls are my life and they are the reason I breathe!  I’m thankful for family which include my wonderful brothers, my sister-in-laws and their sons and daughters.  Couldn’t make it without all of them.  Thankful for what I’ve built in my life.  Between my career and ALL of the speed bumps and road blocks I’ve faced and for the most part I’ve busted through.  Thankful for my health…well, for the most part.  It could be worse but could be better.  It’s a daily thing here.  I’m so thankful for the wonderful people I’m blessed to work with  here in Rhinelander.  These folks are extended family and also help me keep from going insane many days.  I’ve spent many years working with them and seeing them every day.  I thank them all.  Like most folks life hasn’t been peaches and cream but I’ve pushed through for the most part. I’m also thankful for 50 years in broadcasting and only worked in two markets.  Never been fired (yet) and never left a job for being unhappy.  In the broadcasting world that is very unusual and I’m thankful to be one of the few like this.  I’m thankful for YOU…the listeners.  I’ve decided that FOR SURE it will be time to hang up the headphones in 2026.  I’ll come up with a date after the first of the year.  Have a happy thanksgiving from my house to yours.
