After a weekend in Madison and Milwaukee I was on the return trip to the Northwoods on Sunday and came across what was a terrible accident just north of Wausau. I understand that there were two fatalities in the crash. I don’t know the cause of the accident but it made me think about all the vehicles that were traveling on my return trip. I usually drive 5 over the speed limit. If it’s 65 I go 70 and so on. Well, I was going 70 and cars and trucks were passing me up like I was standing still! What on earth is the hurry?? I realize you will get to your destination at least 15 or 20 minutes before me…..or will you make it at all. I also saw LOTS of people with cell phones up to their ear while driving 70 plus mph! I’m not preaching but after seeing that horrible accident I thought I would just remind you that loved ones are waiting your arrival. Take your time, pay attention. Especially if the traffic is heavy!!! You could also involve an innocent family. PLEASE?? I’m being nice. Did I mention PLEASE??
