You know which game I’m talking about. I just can’t mention it legally which is stupid just by itself but that’s another blog. Last week I mentioned on the air the upcoming halftime show. How we’ve had (in my opinion) a few years of not so exciting halftimes. Then I mentioned that this year looks as if it will be the same for me. Just not a big fan of Hip Hop at all. My entire life I have loved music. Don’t care what genre it may be. If it’s good music I’m all about it. The only genres I haven’t been crazy about are Opera, Hip Hop, Rap or Light Jazz. All the rest…bring it on. LOVE my Classic Rock, great Pop from days gone by, FUNK! Oh ya, my FUNK and R&B!! Country, Fusion Jazz…ok, you get it. Well, I decided to give it a try last night. All ready to critique it as boring. WOW was I surprised! I found myself turning up the subwoofer and surround sound system. Not only the sound BUT the production!!!!!! OK…at the end I turned to my dear Joann and we BOTH said “WOW”!!!! What a production…the sound. Joann even got up and danced a little! (ok…I enjoyed that too). It was a production, musical EVENT with huge superstars all together. I eat crow…my ears and eyes amazed and I salute everybody that put on a great halftime extravaganza! I stand corrected.
