Well…Gas is $4.69 per gallon in Rhinelander and a little less than that on average. Even at that it was bumper to bumper traffic Thursday and Friday Night going North. People have had it with being locked up for a couple years during Covid and even at those gas prices people decided sanity won out! It was SO good to see so many people converge on Rhinelander, Minocqua, Eagle River and all over the Northwoods for the weekend and that’s just the start. Here’s to a safe, happy tourist filled summer in the Northwoods. Not only for the folks taking a well-deserved vacation but for all those businesses that rely on the tourist season in the North.
