Big Summer Concert makes Milwaukee

Well, The big stadium show of the summer has made its appearance.  Lots of Northwoods folks headed down.  I’m talking about Joan Jett/Poison/Motley Crue and Def Leppard.  I’ve been watching videos and WOW …what a set up!  Joan Jett opens up and does about 45 minutes. I’ve seen her live and other than the hits it ok.  Poison?  Obviously, LOTS of fans but was never my thing.  I called it puberty rock.  Motley Crue?  OK…whatever. (my opinion).  Def Leppard on the other hand would have been what I would have waited for.  You’ve got to admit that this hit machine is worth the ticket price.  I’ve always admired their studio skills.  Of course Mutt Lange made them sound great!  Surprisingly, you would think with all those studio effects they may not sound that great in concert BUT they DO surprise you at the live sound which I give HIGH scores to.  So, if you were lucky enough to travel to Milwaukee and experience this huge stadium show I would LOVE to hear from you!  Hope you had a great time and the show was what you were looking forward to.  Rock On!
