Is is me or is (as always) Winter dragging on endlessly? Ok…we are in to February BUT remember we do have some pretty good storms in March and even April! Will it EVER end. I’m tired of my truck constantly being dirty inside and out. Tired of the dry winter air in the house and having to regulate the humidity level constantly. Tired of being LOCKED UP on the weekends because of the frigid temps and/or the impending storm. Yes, I long for that first 60 degree day. I long for the birds chirping. I long to sit on the deck with a beverage on the weekends. YES…I’m happy for the folks that snowmobile and love the winters. I’d say they’ve had a pretty good year. But come on…does it have to last SO LONG??!??!! Couldn’t we at least even it out a little more and not just have 3 months of nice weather??!?!?! Yes, I am rooting that the stupid Ground Hog is just a gimmick and we see warmer temps a LOT sooner than 6 weeks away. Unfortunately, I’m predicting the first 60 degree day to be LATE April at best. Let’s hope like HELL I’m wrong!! THINK SPRING.
