OK..life changes overnight…well, in this case it took months BUT you need to put a period finally at the end of a long, boring sentence and go on to the next page! Finally have a move date in order. NOT where I wanted to be but I’ll make the best of it for the next 12 months. You sit down and think of all the things you need to do to prepare the move. Things hanging on the wall, things in cupboards, preparing for the movers, etc. GOOD LORD, you do a bunch of stuff in the evenings after work and the next night you see 100 MORE things you need to do! Yes, moving SUCKS. I learned thru this process that you do not trust people no matter how “close” you think you are and then you go crazy for a few weeks. It WILL settle down. Is it a nice place for now? Absolutely! Plus, it will give me a year to plan on what I’m going to do on that retirement day a year down the road. I’ll keep you posted. Did I mention that moving sucks?
