The Smashing Pumpkins To Release Greatest Hits Album On Vinyl For The First Time

The Smashing Pumpkins are set to release their greatest hits album on vinyl for the first time.

(Rotten Apples) The Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits is scheduled for release on vinyl on August 9 via Capitol/UMe.

The set will be available as a 2 LP on 180-gram black vinyl and multiple collector-worthy, limited edition 2 LP color variants pressed on standard weight or 180-gram color vinyl.

(Rotten Apples) The Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits is a greatest hits compilation album by The Smashing Pumpkins, released in 2001.

The album’s concluding track, “Untitled,” was the Pumpkins’ final recording before their breakup. Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin had a reunion in 2018.

The alternative rock band has an extensive tour schedule ahead during July-September, which includes European dates, North American stadium shows with Green Day on The Saviors Tour and additional solo arena performances.

Kiki Wong joins the band as additional touring guitarist.
